THE EMPIRIC RESEARCH OF THE LEVEL OF SELF-REGULATION OF SOCIONOMIC SPHERE FUTURE SPECIALISTS

Abstract

The problem of mental self-regulation is an important psychological problem. In particular, it is important to study the self-regulation of present and future specialists who work with people. Specialists of the socio- nomic sphere, especially educators and psychologists, often have to be as a model of behavior for others. Therefore, the ability to regulate their mental states and processes is one of the leading their professional skills.
So the main aim of the article is to present the results of empiric research of the characteristics of mental self-regulation of students of socionomic sphere.
Khmelnytsky National University was the base of the research. The sample consisted of 32 students aged from 17 to 23 years. The questionnaire “The style of self-regulation of behavior” and a test-questionnaire “The investigation of voluntary self-regulation” were used in the research.
According to the questionnaire “The style of self-regulation of behavior” were found out that 53,1% of investigated students have the average level of general self-regulation, 34,4% have the high level of general self-regulation and the number of students with low level of self-regulation is 12,5%.
According to the questionnaire “The investigation of voluntary self-regulation” were found out that 75% investigated students have the high level of voluntary self-regulation and 25% have low level of it.
In the whole it has been found out that the level of mental self-regulation of students is average and high.
There are such prospects for further researches are seen: the studing of the relationship of self-regulation with the ability to anticipate and reflect, as well as the self-assessment of the individual, the expansion of the sample and research tools, the study of the impact of self-regulation on the professionalization of the individual, the identification of the features of self-regulation in other age categories and gender.
