Abstract

The article actualizes the problem of the development of psychological readiness of future cynologists for professional activities, which combines two different areas: military service and work with service dogs while performing complex and responsible tasks. The structural and functional model for development of the psychological readiness of cynologists officers for professional activities is substantiated. It includes the following blocks: the purposive (purpose and tasks), methodological (approaches and principles), organizational (means), functional (psychological factors) and resultative (components, criteria, indicators of psychological readiness). Internal factors of the development of psychological readiness of cynologists officers for professional activity sare: 1) awareness of psychological readiness for professional activities by cynologists officers in the combination of all components: motivational and purposive, active and operational, emotional and volitional, and reflexive and control; 2) responsible subjective position; 3) ability to take self-control, independent action and decisions.

Based on the structural and functional model, the program for development of psychological readiness was developed and evaluated. It included training for cynologists officers on “Development of Psychological Readiness for Professional Activities” and a complex of professionally-oriented special courses. The training program consisted of six interconnected modules: 1) acquaintance; 2) motivational and purposive readiness; 3) active and operational readiness; 4) emotional and volitional readiness; 5) reflexive and control readiness; 6) final results. After approbation of the program, the statistically significant differences in the level of psy- chological readiness of future specialists in cynological services were confirmed and proved its effectiveness.
