Abstract

The purpose of this research is to theoretically substantiate and empirically examine the areas of target orientation of students-psychologists, peculiarities of its development in the process of learning.

Methods of research: theoretical, empirical, methods of data processing, methods of mathematical statistics.

Results. The theoretical basis of the development of the program of development of the target orientation of the student's personality during the educational activity is the provision on the development of personal potential as determinants of personality formation, the doctrine of the position of the individual: egocentric, rational and altruistic, the theory of the systematic formation of mental actions and the concepts of P.Ya. Halperin, who solves the problem of immoderance and chaos in the behavior of adolescents by structuring their activities into the corresponding work card diagrams, by which they can easily and quickly perform any activity with minimal time. The main psychological conditions for the development of the target orientation were: definition of the main principles of the functioning of the group (activity, feedback, trust, benevolence, subjectivity of statements, confidentiality); conducting theoretical classes at the departments placed in the circle; using schemes of indicative basis of action during the assimilation of a new theoretical material and the development of prac tical skills; Conducting reflection at the end of the academic week. When implementing a correctional model and approbation of psychological support, it was established: reduction of aggressiveness towards others and adoption of goals, improvement of success, development of educational motivation, increase of autonomy, organization, persistence, development of positive attitude towards oneself, acceptance of own disadvantages and failures of other people, the emergence of desire to help , development of optimism. The transition from the predominance of egocentric position during the confirmatory experiment to the altruistic at the end of the psychological correction was revealed.

Conclusions. The theoretical analysis of the problem and the empirical part of the study of the target orientation have shown that the continuation of the study of this area of personality psychology is promising, since the focus is a higher level of its structural organization and needs urgent development.
