EMPIRICAL INVESTIGATION OF FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL THINKING IN FUTURE YOUNGER SPECIALISTS – WOMEN SERVICEMEN OF THE STATE BORDER GUARD SERVICE OF UKRAINE

Abstract

The purpose of the article is an empirical study of the formation of professional thinking in future junior specialists – women servicemen of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Methods. The following techniques were used to solve these tasks: determining the personality of B. Bass; “Types of thinking” (modified by G. Rezapkina); diagnostics of practical orientation of thinking of L. Urvantsev–N. Volodina; determination of stress resistance and social adaptation of Holmes and Rage; diagnostics of communicative and organizational inclinations (CBS-2); questionnaires: “The motivation for success and the fear of failure” by A. Rean and others.

Results. Positive dynamics of qualitative parameters of characteristics of professional thinking of women of the experimental group in comparison with the control were revealed: by the indicators of conceptual and content criterion there was an increase: ability to generalize and to analyse and interpret, spatial imagination, emotional stability; motivational-target criteria: engagement, task-oriented, team-oriented, communications and surveillance, and technological military specialties; according to the indicators of operational and regulatory criterion of increasing: communicative and organizational inclinations, indicators of modeling of achievement of goals; according to the indicators of the reflexive-evaluation criterion of raising: professional self esteem, etc.

Conclusions. Dynamics in the ratio of the leading types of professional thinking of women servicemen of the SBGSU of the experimental group were revealed: reduction of the manifestation of adaptation-orientation type and increase of the resource-reflexive and productive-creative type of professional thinking.

The positive influence and effectiveness of the developed training program on forming the professional thinking of future junior border guards inspectors, reflected in the indicators of substantive characteristics of productive, creative and resource-reflective types, more complete implementation of administrative and jurisdictional activities on border control are proved.
