Abstract

The paper considers the need to use methods of psychological correction of the work of the media (mass media), in emergency situations, for changes in behavior, emotions, feelings and their regulation. The main task is to reorient the population from passive observation and criticism to active participation and assistance, with full subordination to liquidation services. Having developed the information strategy, the coordinated policy of cooperation of services and authorities with the society and the media, it will be possible to use information to neutralize and eliminate the consequences of emergency situations
