Abstract

The article deals with the structural and functional characteristics of the youth’s civil self-awareness, their mental determination is shown, psychological mechanisms of formation are grounded. Applying the correlation analysis of the results of the questionnaire «Limit vital meanings» of DA Leontiev, the projective methodology «Sachs-Levy’s» unfinished sentences «, and also the non-standardized self-report in the form of the test of 12 statements on the self-attitude» I am a citizen of my country, «I managed to obtain significant coefficients correlation correlation between the leading basic values and semantic characteristics of respondents and their civic convictions and orientations.
