In this working paper the concept of self-realization is described from the point of view of humanistic psychological school, that means using this term in case of self-actualisation. More than 200 young persons took part in empirycal study. Studying the impacts of the virtual environment on personal self-realization is relevant in the modern world due to the fact that this environment becomes quite significant, and sometimes dominant, in the realities of the information society. Achievements reached during the intensive use of virtual space can cause an increase in the subjective evaluation of the self-realization gained, with a low objective self-realization level.
