PERSONAL PORTRAIT OF THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE IT SPHERE

Abstract

The research paper provides a socio-psychological analysis of the personality of IT specialists. The influence of professional activity on the formation of personality in adult life is theoretically grounded, the leading competencies and professionally important qualities of IT specialists are covered,the existing stereotypes about the behaviour of these specialists are described. Based on the results of the existing researches, a generalized psychological portrait of the representative of the IT sphere is provided.
