SOCIAL ADAPTATION OF GRADUATES OF RESIDENTIAL INSTITUTIONS IN UKRAINE: MECHANISMS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM

Abstract

The article highlights the necessity of complex reformation of the state system of children’s rights protection in order to provide equal opportunities for personal and professional development; the basic principles of social policy of Ukraine concerning problems of social adaptation of graduates of residential institutions are underlined; the main stages of the technological algorithm of social work with orphans and children deprived of parental care are determined; the system of social support as an effective method of work of social workers in the direction of providing social services for social adaptation is characterized; the effectiveness of the use of interactive teaching methods and organization of training sessions for the full reintegration of the young person into society is researched.
