PSYCHOLOGICAL STUDY OF THE DEMAND FOR PROFESSIONAL POLICE OFFICERS

Abstract

The article analyzes the scientific approaches to the study of professional demand on the example of the police officers of Patrol Service of Ukraine. The value of this phenomenon in the professional activities is considered It was found that for patrol officers, as in the period of study, and in the normal course of business, characterized by a sense of professional demand, which is characterized by a sense of belonging to this profes- sional community, confidence in their own professional competence, as well as the expectation of a positive attitude on the part of other people.The subjects share the values and priorities of law enforcement system in which they work, which testifies to the identity of the profession, that contributing to the harmonious development of personality.
