PSYCHOLOGICAL PECULIARITIES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS OF FUTURE SPEECH THERAPISTS

Abstract

The article deals with scientific approaches to understanding of the notion of professional self-consciousness of speech therapist and its development. The insight of the structure and components of professional self-consciousness are revealed. The necessity to strengthen humanistic measure of the development of professional self-consciousness in the process of teaching and educating of students-speech therapists is grounded. The necessity to make an accent in teaching and education work of future speech therapist, in the formation of his/her pedagogical culture and competency exactly on the strategies of internalization of humanistic values (participation in charity, real help for other person, trainings of “kindness”, exercises, psychological consulta- tion and correction) is stated in the article.
