THE RELATIONSHIP OF TRAUMA WITH PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS IN PATIENTS WITH MENTAL DISORDERS

The results of empirical studies on relationship of mental trauma and psychological characteristics of patients with mental disorders. Our hypothesis was that experience of trauma has a positive relationship with psychological characteristics of patients with mental disorders. Subjects – psychiatric patients with hallucina- tory-paranoid syndrome and borderline psychic disorders – examined by a battery of methods of diagnosis of mental trauma and personality questionnaires. The obtained results show benefit of relationship experience of trauma to emergence of a mental disorder.
