THE ROLE OF SOCIAL SUPPORT IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC ACTIVITY OF ELDERLY PEOPLE

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the concept of social activity of elderly people. The need for re­search is determined to the fact that the questions of support and development of social activity of the elderly are relevant, but not explored. The article analyzes and compares the main approaches to the definition of the concept of social activity of older people, outlines the features of the social activity of elderly people and presents the results of a study of the level of perception of social support for older people attracted to social activity.
