Abstract

The paper highlights the problems of demobilized members return to civilian life ATO. Not­ed the importance of social and psychological support social services for effective reintegra­tion of combatants into society and overcome the negative effects of psychological trauma as a whole. Analyzed the impact of the negative effects of stressful events. Indicate factors that contribute to the successful reintegration of combatants into the society. Analyzes the shortcomings and prospects of development of modern social and psychological support to participants in anti-terrorist operations.

Conclusions on the key provisions of the organization and provision of social and psycho­logical services. In particular, the importance of using methods of “empowerment”; improve psychological training of specialists in social sphere; effective education programs to explain the phenomenon of trauma and its consequences.
