PRACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUTURE PROFESSIONALS OF MARINE TRANSPORT ON THE SELF-CORRECTION OF DRUGS AND INSURANCE BEFORE MATTER EXTREME PROFESSIONAL SITUATIONS

Abstract

Purpose. The article presents practical recommendations for future specialists in maritime transport regarding self-correction of anxiety and fear of possible extreme situations during professional activity, and selected comprehensive exercises for general comfort, the achievement of trained muscle relaxation, and also for strengthening the emotional and volitional sphere.

Methods. According to the results of the study, a program for forming the psychological readiness of future specialists in maritime transport for professional activities in extreme situations was developed on the basis of in-creasing the level of autocompetence of future seamen, which determines the development of the ability to self-correction, self-control, self-regulation of future seamen as indicators of their psychological readiness for extreme professional situations. During the implementation of the program, the ability to self-correcting and self-regulation is formed on the basis of constructive autocompetent changes of the professional I-concept regarding the unwanted, in terms of the professional efficiency of the seaman in the conditions of extreme situations, professionally important components: the individual-personal qualities (professionally unproductive and professionally negative), destructive installations, volitional and value demotivations, unproductive behavioral behavior patterns, etc.

Results. On this basis, the conscious autopsychological changes of the motivational-cognitive, emotional-volitional and operational components of the professional I-concept of the sailor are achieved, the updated behavioral level of the future marine specialist is reached, which ensures an increase in psychological readiness for extreme situations.

Conclusions. Developed on this basis practical recommendations for self-training for extreme professional situations determine the possibilities of successful use of these recommendations by specialists of maritime transport in conditions of practical professional activity.
