SELF-REGULATION AND REFLEXIVITY OF CADETS – FUTURE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT PROGRAM

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of psychic self-regulation and reflexivity in psychology. Specificity of self – regulation and its relationship with the partial characteristics of reflexivity (retrospective reflection, reflection of the present and future, interpersonal reflection) of cadets in the context of a program of psychological support is analyzed. The specifics of personal self-regulation and its relationship with the partial characteristics of the cadets’ reflexivity in the context of the psychological support program are analyzed. The study found that the cadets who were included in the psychological support program are more focused on analyzing and evaluating the activities already done, the events that took place in the past. These subjects are prone to thinking about future activities and planning, monitoring and analyzing their own behaviour. Cadets who were trained in ordinary conditions were found to have lower rates for all components of personal self-regulation.
