Abstract

The topic of the article is relevant because it highlights ways to improve the efficiency of the educational process. Objective. The theoretical aspects of educational coaching and its practical significance to be highlight. In addition, it is important to analyze the prospects for the use of coaching technologies in modern society in general and in education in particular. The basis of the study was the work of contemporary prominent coaches and educators who use coaching technologies. Methods. Methods of theoretical analysis, synthesis, generalization, which allowed to combine modern directions of coaching technologies in education. Surveys. Results. The theoretical analysis of this problem has highlighted the significant potential of using coaching in education. Of considerable theoretical and practical interest is the analysis of the most effective coaching techniques in the field of education. Both from the point of view of teaching and from the point of view of the quality of knowledge acquisition by students, including in the process of self-education. Taking into account these two aspects, we describe models of successful coaching interaction in the teacherstudent system in certain academic disciplines, analyze the results of a survey of higher education students on the effectiveness of coaching technologies in teaching. Conclusions. Coaching in education is a tool for improving the quality of the educational process, which can bring it to a new, higher level. The use of coaching models in the educational process requires an active, conscious approach to learning on the part of students and the creation of a partnership, subject-subject interaction between participants in the educational process.
