Abstract

Purpose. The results of the research of complex psychodiagnostic support of psychological re-adaptation of post-addicted adults are considered in the article. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the psychodiagnostic support of social rehabilitation and psychological re-adaptation of post-substance abuse adults. In this regard, we set two goals: 1) to develop a theoretical model of psychological readaptation; 2) to select a set of methods of psychodiagnostics of the course of psychological readaptation on the example of post-substance abuse adults.

Methods. Theoretical analysis and generalization of data from literature sources on the topic of research (analysis, synthesis, comparison, systematization, generalization of scientific-theoretical and empirical data) – are subordinated to the task of identifying the main methodological approaches and theoretical-empirical study of the problem of readaptation.

Results. The research has made it possible to establish that psychological readaptation is a process aimed at re-adjusting a person to the conditions of existence and overcoming maladaptations caused by traumas, violence, addictions, deprivations, etc., in physical, cognitive, emotional and social development. To investigate the features of psychological readaptation, you can use a complex of psychodiagnostic tools for the course of psychological readaptation (in particular – post-drug-dependent adults), which includes the following methods: Methodology for the study of adverse childhood experiences (NDD) (by W. Felitti, R. Anda), Symptomatic Distress Questionnaire (SCL-90-R, by L. Derogatis; modified by N. Panin), Diagnosis of the “Style of self-regulation of behavior” (by V. Morosanova), Personal questionnaire of social and psychological adaptation (by K. Rogers, R. Dimond), Method “Intellectual potential of the individual – 2” (by E. Pomytkin).

Conclusions. It was concluded that psychological readaptation should be directed to the five areas of personality in which maladaptation occurs (physical, cognitive, emotional, social and spiritual). Comprehensive psychodiagnostic support for the psychological re-adaptation of post-substance abuse adults should come from studies of each of these areas of human personality using appropriate psychodiagnostic techniques.
