Abstract

The article presents a theoretical analysis of foreign and domestic literature on the problem of the professional formation and deformation of penitentiary employees, the model of the personality of the prison officer and the role of the subculture of convicts in professional destruction are justified. The factors and results of the destructive influence of the subculture on the personality of the MIS employee are analyzed.
