Abstract

The article analyzes the phenomenon of perfectionism in relation to the process of personal self-fulfillment. The manifestation of perfectionism in the intra– and interpsychic domain of individuals with narcissistic, depressive and obsessive-compulsive characterology has been traced. The peculiarities of genesis of these character types, strategies of their psychotherapeutic correction and dealing with issues of perfectionism have been outlined.
