The article is devoted to the philosophical analysis of a complex of questions related to understanding and interpretation of the problem of consciousness in analytical psychology of K. G. Yung. The special emphasis is made on the historico-philosophical parallels between the philosophy of consciousness in Buddhism and yoga and Yung's interpretation of the same subject.
