PECULIARITIES OF DEVELOPMENT OF PURPOSE OF PERSONALITY IN CONDITIONS OF MENTAL DEPRIVATION

Abstract

The scientific researches of psychologists on the problems of development of purpose-setting of younger schoolchildren educated in boarding-type institutions are analyzed in this article. The process of goal-setting is one of the determining factors of the effectiveness of educational activities. The research of mechanisms for the development of the ability to set goals in the process of activity by pupils of the boarding school is a separate branch of scientific research and is especially actual. The realized theoretical analysis of the concepts and approaches to the study of problem of the development purpose-setting of the personality represents its essence, regularity and mechanisms of formation, depending on the internal and external conditions of development and education of the individual, which in general makes it possible to define and substantiate the basic conceptual provisions of this research.
